It's a B-E-A-utiful Day!

Wow! it's been a long time since our last post, time has not been on our side. Too busy I guess, Camilla's Spring break, finals coming and with a really hectic work schedule for myself we haven't had a moment. But this past weekend Camilla was home to shoot photos for her final project and I tagged along while she went out to shoot. It was the most amazing weekend we have had in a LONG time, just like summer days. We hit the beach, barbecued and enjoyed lazy evenings at sunset. Sometimes living in So Cal you can pretend to be on vacation and not do a thing but beach, barbecue, and laze the days away. Maybe that's because I am a Mid West raised girl, so for me living by the beach is a blessing.
Walking down to the beach through our little town we took some pictures.
Just follow the read more to see.

I love this cute little beach house, the flag and roses make it picture perfect and it's just steps from the sand.
My early mothers day gift from Camilla a beautiful necklace from Free People.
Camilla in a tie die Free People dress I bought her for her birthday.
Down our street full of little beach houses
The perfect ending, a cerveza with lime and the view from our deck while chilling till dinner.
The sweetest man ever, we don't know his name but he is always so happy and a staple of our town. He stops to chat with anyone who is willing.
 "cue the sun!"
OH!
AND!

Tomorrow is Cinco De Mayo so enjoy!

You and Camilla are SO BEAUTIFUL! And I love both of your outfits. Camilla's dress is such a stunning shade of green and I adore your skirt. :)

You two are so lucky to live by the beach. I'm incredibly envious. Lol. I'm still stuck in the midwest myself right now. Maybe one day I will be as lucky as you! ;)

And that elderly man does look so sweet. Awww. :)

Just love the movement of the fabric in the green dress in that first image, as well as the way the sea compliments the colour of the dress so perfectly! It looks heavenly on the beach. I wish i was there right now.
