EyE See YoU...

Last weekend we went on another art adventure in downtown LA.
Camilla had not been to Art In The Streets yet, so we hit the MOCA and then cruised around in the city

"Always be a first rate version of yourself, instead of a second rate version of somebody else."
-Judy Garland
"I'm for the dreamers. The only real important things in history have been started by the dreamers. They never know what can't be done."
"It is never too late to be what you might have been."

We decided that having a blog wasn't a good enough way to catalog all our images and inspiration especially when you find they are getting lost in your computer
labeled in random files.
So we started a Pinterest and we thought we'd share it with you so you can now have one more place to follow if you'd like.

Walkin' on Sunshine

It’s early June. The start to a 3-month period of pure bliss otherwise known as: summer time. The sun is beaming in the sky, begging you to come out and play. You think there’s nothing better than a walk down the avenue to end your day.  And even though the sun will go down in a few hours, the fog hasn’t rolled in for once, and it’s still beautiful out. Blue skies, sunshine, and two adorable puppies by your side – what more could you want? Well maybe just the perfect shoes to help you celebrate the occasion of course!
Lori’s Shoes contacted us to guest blog for them and we were lucky enough to be given the sweetest sandal wedges you could possibly imagine.
And in piping hot red to boot!

Follow the read more to see the whole shoot.

Come Sail Away

"Heaven must be missin' an angel
Missin' one angel, child, 'cause you're here with me right now."

We shot this some time ago for Loris Shoes Lookbook but are finally getting around to posting it. With all this gloomy weather we needed a reminder that the sun will be back, hopefully sooner than later.
This shoot was inspired by the Jumpsuit Lori's sent us.
It felt so Cheryl Ladd from 1970'sCharlies Angels.
We styled Camilla's hair in a high pony, big sunglasses and minimal makeup to reference Cheryl's character Kris Monroe. The boat seemed a fitting setting for the look and feeling of the 70's vibe.

Jumpsuit, Shoes, and Necklace all from Lori's Shoes

Have a great weekend!
