It's a B-E-A-utiful Day!

Wow! it's been a long time since our last post, time has not been on our side. Too busy I guess, Camilla's Spring break, finals coming and with a really hectic work schedule for myself we haven't had a moment. But this past weekend Camilla was home to shoot photos for her final project and I tagged along while she went out to shoot. It was the most amazing weekend we have had in a LONG time, just like summer days. We hit the beach, barbecued and enjoyed lazy evenings at sunset. Sometimes living in So Cal you can pretend to be on vacation and not do a thing but beach, barbecue, and laze the days away. Maybe that's because I am a Mid West raised girl, so for me living by the beach is a blessing.

The top necklace is from Free People given to me from Camilla and a huge favorite right now. We are also loving our rings, all kinds of big chunky ones.

Actually, when it comes to our jewelry we feel the more the merrier.

Come Sail Away

In our home town just about 2 miles off the coast we have had a rare and majestic sight for the past few months. Beautiful Blue Whales have come here to feed on krill and the gentle giants are causing quite a stir in the quiet beach towns. Our ocean has been much colder than normal for this time of year, it actually never warmed up to summer temps so it was perfect for the Blue Whales to come and feed. Blue Whales are mostly never in these parts of the ocean and never at least in about 50 years been this close to shore. We have had the opportunity to go out sailing a few times this past month on my brothers sail boat and view the giant creatures. I can not even begin to explain how huge they are, I would say the ones we saw were close to 80 feet long. All the photos are by Camilla and Emmett taken while my brother sailed the boat and I needed to not move around too much because I get terribly seasick. These are some of my favorite shots that Camilla and Emmett took on various trips to sea. 

We Hope everyone has been having a wonderful weekend.

 The weather has finally turned to Summer even though now all we want is Fall. It is like we were jipped on our Summer and hopefully now we won't be jipped for Fall. Oh Mother Nature! I guess I really can't complain it is nice way to enjoy your Sunday:)

It's a Charmed Life

I took these pictures of my boyfriend and me earlier this year with a tripod at a park near my house and posted them on my personal facebook account for myself and friends. Then the other day a friend of mine told me she has seen one of my photos on some random blogs and tumblers which she showed me.  So I decided to but up a post to claim them as my own. The top picture is the actual one that has been floating around the blog sphere on more than a few accounts.

 I am sorry for the lack of posts lately. We have a lot of things happening in our life's right now keeping us very busy. But they are all good things that is why I titled the post a "It's a charmed life."
