The Many Faces of Alice

"I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah. That's the great puzzle!"

"Curiouser and curiouser"

"There's no use in trying," Alice said: "one can't believe impossible things."
"I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."
Through the Looking Glass
Lewis Carroll

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked
"Oh, you can't help that," said the cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. Your Mad."

"If I had a world of my own everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?"
As you all know Alice in Wonderland came out today, and we can't wait to see it. Actually we are going tonight! Because we love Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, Yesterday we did a little shoot at home inspired by Alice. Camilla wore a little floral skirt we got at Target but cut way shorter, the gingham bra top I designed and made inspired by a bathing suit from the 50's. The knee hi's are from American Apparel and the heels by Jeffery Campbell from LF boutque. The little blazer is a vintage boys school jacket.

Hope you all have a Wonderful weekend

Romeo and Juliet

This is a quick sketch of what we are thinking about for our next shoot. Mixing vintage designer Romeo Gigli with other vintage pieces and various brands from today.  We plan on shooting this weekend if all goes well and have a few ideas of where to shoot if the beautiful weather holds out. Here's the rest of the inspiration behind the shoot and how the outfit and colors of it were put together.
