Back in May our beaches Lifeguard towers were transformed into a vibrant art piece through a Public Art Project called "Summer of Color"
For five months all of LA county's Lifeguard towers, from Zuma to San Pedro will sit as a collective group of art.
Summer of Color is the largest public art project in the U.S.
The Project was made possible by Portraits of Hope, an organization that helps seriously ill and physically disabled children.
All the towers are painted either with flowers or geometric shapes.
"The Flower is a universal symbol of joy, life, youth, beauty, renewal and the environment. It is a design theme integral to Summer of Color. Geometric shapes are also core elements in this project
as the young participants will be involved in shaping the future."
I am so excited it's the weekend!
"I've got that joy, joy, joy, joy, down in my heart-woo!"

Have a Colorful weekend!
